Music Club Concert

Irwin's Music Club, under the direction of Ms. McComas and Mr. Evans, formed in January of 2024. The club met two days a week, although many members were juggling additional commitments and were only able to attend once a week. Despite the inherent challenge of never having 100% attendance, the advisors and their club of 4th and 5th grade students rose to the challenge!  They committed to creating and performing a concert for their families. In fact, their first fully attended rehearsal was just an hour before the audience gathered. 

On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, families and staff members were delighted to experience a summer time celebration that was organized by these dedicated students. They wrote the speaking parts, they auditioned and chose the soloists, they chose the order of the music, and boy did they perform with vocals, instruments, costumes, and even humor! We enjoyed "Love the Summer", "Ukulele", "Sand Castles", "Pizza Love", and "Go Be Awesome". Congratulations to these students and their club advisors for a job well done!  Bravo!
