WAMC Registered Dietician visits MBN Studio

Irwin's School Nurse and Educational Technologist partnered with the Deputy Chief of Inpatient Nutrition at Womack Army Medical Center to provide information with students and stakeholders for National Nutrition Month on the Mustangs Broadcasting Network.  1LT Nikk Chandarlis, Clinical Registered Dietician, visited the MBN Studio to collaborate with members of the MBN News team.  They created a script that included 1LT Chandarlis on the morning news broadcast.  He was featured sharing the cafeteria menu and explaining why certain foods are included in school breakfast and lunch menus. 

The MBN News team also managed the equipment to record a separate video where 1LT Chandarlis spoke to nutrition at home.  He shared information about the roles both parents and children play in meal times.  We encourage our stakeholders to visit the Mustangs Broadcasting Network to view these messages.
