Liberty for All

We are blessed at Irwin to work with so many outstanding veterans and gold star family members. The Sunset Liberty March takes place each evening. Along the path, there are placards that tell the history of Camp Bragg, Fort Bragg, and Fort Liberty. The march is also conducted just prior to the sun setting. The timing is symbolic and paying homage to those who served and continue to serve.

Each evening, the march is led by a current service member, a veteran, or a gold-star family member. Anyone is welcome to walk the Sunset Liberty March alongside the person leading the march.  Irwin's Ms. Vela, a proud Army veteran, recently signed up as the designated "Liberty Marcher" which includes rendering honors. Ms. Vela was joined by family, colleagues, and a neighboring Fort Liberty family whose child attends Bowley Elementary School.
