National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the U.S. to recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
At Irwin, we are proud to honor the incredible dedication and hard work of our staff members who embody the spirit of this celebration. Their commitment to education and their positive impact on our community are truly commendable.
From Puerto Rico:
Ms. Valencia, our media clerk, fosters a love for reading and learning, offering kind support and guidance for our entire school community.
Ms. Vargas, educational assistant, provides invaluable support in the 5th grade resource classroom and beyond, helping to create an inclusive and effective learning environment.
From Panama:
Ms. Watts, our multilingual learner teacher, works tirelessly to support students and families from diverse linguistic backgrounds, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Dr. Anderson, special education teacher, brings passion and expertise to her role, ensuring that every student in her class receives the support they need to succeed.
We are grateful for their contributions and proud to celebrate them during National Hispanic Heritage Month. Their dedication and hard work make Irwin a better place for all, all the time.
